20 Years of HOPE
The HOPE Koupreys, have not always been the "HOPE Koupreys." As HOPE moved north and classes grew, so too did the need for a sports uniform, mascot and more and more coaches. Mrs Rebecca Kime introduced house names (Ellison, Verner, Cormack & Hammond) and Mr Paul Hodges introduced the "kouprey" in our logo. The Athletics Dept at HOPE has many contributors over the years and each coach, athletic director and player has been part of the story. KOUPREYS UNIFORM 2022-2023-2024!!!
Many thanks to HOPE Parent/Pastor/Graphic Designer, Andrew Thomas for designing the new logo and uniform. Many thanks also to the Athletics Council and School Board who were involved in discussions about design throughout the process.

Why are we the "Koupreys?"
As HOPE developed as a school and sports became an important part of the culture, there was growing interest in having a mascot animal. After much deliberation, the Kouprey was chosen as a rare endangered and most likely extinct Cambodian animal. You can read a little more about it below!
